Hydrogen Blending into Gensets Feasibility Study

Feasibility, technology review and concept design for blending hydrogen into gas generators at existing oil and gas operations.

The Challenge

Bridgeport Energy, an oil producer with tenements across Australia, wanted to decarbonise existing operations and, just as importantly, build its own operational experience with future energy technologies.

Our Response

Amarna assessed the feasibility of blending hydrogen into the client's generator sets, reviewed technology options and performance, and developed a concept design with preliminary costing.

The Impact

A practical first step for the client into low-carbon fuels, grounded in its existing assets rather than a greenfield build.
