Callide Power Station Hydrogen Supply System

RPEQ design of a new hydrogen supply system that receives tube trailers and supplies Callide Power Station's generators with hydrogen for cooling.

The Challenge

Large power station generators are cooled with hydrogen. CS Energy needed a new system at Callide Power Station to receive hydrogen delivered by tube trailer and supply it safely to the generators.

Our Response

CS Energy engaged Amarna for RPEQ design services for the new hydrogen supply system, from the tube trailer connection through to supply to the generators.

The Impact

A safe, compliant hydrogen supply for generator cooling at one of Queensland's major power stations.

Key deliverables

  • RPEQ-certified design
