We're engineers and project professionals with deep experience delivering complex assets across the full lifecycle, from early feasibility to commissioning and operational readiness.
Our work is typically client-side. We act as independent advisors, owner's engineers or embedded delivery partners, helping clients navigate technical complexity, manage risk and make informed decisions.
Our clients work directly with our senior people. What defines Amarna isn't a single technology or sector, but the way we approach engineering: disciplined, practical and grounded in how assets are actually built and operated.

From hydrogen pioneers to a multidisciplinary consultancy
01Where we started
First-of-kind hydrogen and renewable gas
Amarna Energy was founded in 2019 with a strong focus on hydrogen and renewable gas systems, at a time when these technologies were emerging and the regulations were still being written. Our early projects were first-of-kind, where safety, compliance and operational readiness mattered from day one.
02What it taught us
Engineering for high-hazard, regulated work
That work built deep capability in high-hazard engineering, regulatory engagement, safety in design and commissioning. These skills carry straight across to any industry where the engineering has to be right.
03Where we are today
The same rigour, across many industries
Today we apply the same engineering rigour and delivery mindset across energy and power, EV and zero-emission transport, mining and minerals, industrial and process facilities, and legacy energy assets. Hydrogen and biomethane remain core strengths: proof that we're at home where projects are complex and regulated.
