Stanwell FEITH Electrolyser Test Facility

Electrolyser test system and balance of plant design for Stanwell's 20 MW Future Energy Innovation and Training Hub, one of the world's largest test facilities.

The Challenge

Stanwell needed a facility at Stanwell Power Station to test, certify, train on and develop large-scale electrolysers before deployment. The Future Energy Innovation and Training Hub (FEITH) is designed to do that at 20 MW scale.

Our Response

Amarna was engaged from the early stages of development to design the electrolyser test system and balance of plant. We took the design to a 30% package, produced the engineering packs, and worked with the supply chain on Stanwell's behalf, including market and vendor engagement and options analysis.

The Impact

When complete, the facility will be one of the largest of its kind in the world, a valuable asset for testing, compliance, training and development of large-scale electrolysers.
